Line

It was difficult to find buildings that had gaps between them that created a line. I have some photos that are the closer i could get to my original idea. The blue building was a really nice colour which caught my eye with the blue changing colour at the back into red. Also the shape was interesting. The next photo was at the train station. The different levels of train track, platform, roff and gap created layers of lines to me and could be really interesting if a group of people could've been walking in a straight line on the platform to add to it. I also looked at the gap between poles on the platform but it didn't create a straight, clear line. The final photo was at Venice with the old buildings and narrow streets it would be perfect to get a photo of a line between buildings.

I also looked into other natural occurrences of lines such as clouds, animals and plants. This developed as i noticed other lines created by cracks, dirt and light reflecting on water. The sheep line is very interesting to me, as well as the flower, but i concluded with trying to photograph natural nature a little manipulation would be needed to create a straight line.

I also looked at other things around my own room. I found shadows interesting as you can create different shades of shadows which could work really well on a white wall. I tried creating lines with my hair but it was difficult to control. I found distorting images by looking through a snow globe interesting; i found with the right angle and image it could turn things into lines. I still looked for gaps and also moved on from shadows to light to try creating lines.
